Using the SURECOM 41-92 Bluetooth PTT
Microphone with Zello App
 
Setting Android Phone
Open Bluetooth Settings on your cell phone (Android only)
Press and hold the power button on Bluetooth PTT microphone until red and blue LED flash alternately.
The device name can be seen in the Bluetooth list (“Surecom PTT” or “Dellking PTT Mic”).
Please connect to “Surecom PTT” or Dellking PTT Mic” first
Setting PTT button on Zello
If you are using one of the Zello recommended accessories that function as a push-to-talk device, log into your management console and go to Settings > Android > “Enable Use specialized wired PTT speaker-mic or headset” and save.
Connect the accessory to your mobile device
Open Zello “Options” > “Push-to-talk button”
Select “+Add Button” on the top right. You’ll get a prompt asking you to press the Speaking PTT button and it will be added as a “Headset hook”. (POC-PTT will show on this page)
Make sure the Zello Screen is set to “Bluetooth mode”
 
(Next time you power on the Bluetooth PTT microphone, it will automatically reconnect to the cell phone.) (Because of Zello app problem, after the connection, you need to refresh the software to use. The method is to press the home key on your phone to go back to desktop, then return to software.)
